9:30 am – 10 am: Arrival and Welcome
Light refreshments will be provided.
10 am – 10:15 am: Introduction to the Day Retreat
Opening Prayer
Review the day’s agenda and provide a brief opening to the topic of Christian meditation and its significance in sanctification.
10:15 am – 11:15 am: One Hour Christian Meditation Session
Lead participants in a Christian meditation session focusing on resting in God’s presence. Participants may want to use this time for both prayer and meditation. It is your quiet time to use as the Holy Spirit leads.
11:15 am – 11:45 am: Personal Reflection Time
Participants will spend time in personal reflection or journaling. (Bring your journals)
11:45 am – 12:30 pm: Group Sharing and Discussion
Invite participants to share their experiences from the meditation session (optional participation).
Lunch Break: 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
Lunch will be provided. There will be time to take a walk on well worn, wooded paths on the property. (Bring your walking shoes!)
Afternoon Session: Teaching on the Influence Christian Meditation has on Sanctification
1:30 pm – 2:30 pm: Teaching Session
Closing Session: Reflection and Prayer
