Day Retreat on Forgiveness
Experience Healing & Release Through Christian Meditation & Guided Art
Join us for a restorative in-person retreat on Saturday, April 12, from 10 AM – 3 PM EST, at 368 S. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ. The word “art” can feel intimidating to some, but no prior experience is needed—this is about expression, not perfection.
Led by Christian meditation teacher and artist Monica Armstrong, this retreat will provide a safe and sacred space to explore forgiveness through scripture, meditation, and a guided creative experience. Guided by Jesus’ words, “Forgive them, for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34), we will journey toward:
Releasing the burden of unforgiveness
Healing through Christian meditation
Expressing your journey with a colorful creative release
This retreat is in-person only. Cost: $49 (includes lunch and art supplies).
Come and experience the freedom that forgiveness brings. Space is limited—register today!

About Your Retreat Director
Monica Armstrong, a devoted Christian and visual artist, founded the Spirit Matters studio in 1997, blending her faith and creativity to inspire others through art. Her mission is to create art that embodies spiritual wisdom. Her workshops, retreats, and seminars provide a hands-on, creative prayer experience that intertwines art and spirituality.
Inspired by her study of the Christian tradition during the Masters of Holistic Spirituality Program at Chestnut Hill College, she developed “Prayer Paths,” a Journey Through the History of Christian Spirituality featuring twenty handmade Sacred Vessels.
She studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and earned a BS in Art Education from Moore College of Art. Monica received her training as a Spiritual Director from the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation. As a member of the CMC for several years, she offers gentle guidance in her CMC weekly meditation sessions.
